The North of Bali gets the most hours of sun, the least rains and has a calm sea. Although you can't surf the waves overhere, it is the destination for diving, snorkling, fishing, sailing and swimming. Adding the natural thermal baths (warm and cold), beautiful nature, many important temples and teracced rice paddies in the hills and mountains. The former capital of Bali Singaraja at 14 km distance from Lovina didn't encounter the influnece of tourism, therefore it is a typical Indonesian city, but above all North Bali still has its own character.
